We take immense pride in representing well-known manufacturers and their cutting-edge measurement instrumentation including flowmeters, level, pressure, and temperature transmitters, gas & flame detection devices, heat trace, and much more. We sell to a diverse range of industries across California and Nevada, from Water & Wastewater agencies to Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Refinery, and Power & Energy companies.

People would describe you as driven, energetic, technically minded, and have a likable personality that resonates well with customers. The right candidate must have a strong work ethic, the ability to influence others, drive sales and serve as a trusted advisor to your customers to solve their biggest engineering challenges. We’re seeking someone who can significantly grow their territory while maintaining strong relationships with current customers and the manufacturers we represent. Strong technical communications skills and organization are critical; you can explain how something works, how it will solve a problem and/or work within a manufacturing process. Managing your schedule, book of business, calls and emails from customers is second nature to you. You love being in front of the customer and aren’t afraid to go the extra mile to get your foot in the door.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain positive relationships with the manufactures we represent and work closely to introduce and promote their process measurement instrumentation to our customer base.
• Nurture positive, productive relationships with our customers which include engineers, technicians, plant managers, etc. in industrial environments.
• Proactively identify new business opportunities, convert potential leads into orders, and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Understand and analyze customer needs and offer our manufacturer’s products and solutions that are in sync with customer’s operations.
• Collaborate with our manufacturers to set up joint customer sales calls.
• Stay current on the latest trends and technologies in process instrumentation.
• Participate in industry events as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/business/ or technical degree preferred.
• Industrial automation or process industry experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in people and a natural aptitude for cultivating strong customer relationships.
