Inside Sales Engineer
Full Time Position / Monday-Friday / 8 hours per day /Reports to Operations Manager
Primary Role:
The Inside Sales Associate will provide excellent customer service and support to our customers. This role plays a critical role in the order management process ensuring the timely processing of orders and delivery dates are confirmed. The Inside Sales Engineer will liaise between customers, Account Managers and the manufacturers JPR Systems represents, to ensure the timely and successful delivery of orders according to customer needs, while meeting the objective of the company’s sales plan.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Interface with customers via phone to gain an understanding of their requirements and propose a solution to meet these requirements
• Receive and process customer orders while screening information for accuracy and completeness
• Work with our manufacturer’s factory technical support staff, customer service staff, and management to meet customers sales and service requirements
• Acknowledges customer orders received via telephone, email and fax within 24 hours
• Works closely with the JPR Systems Account Managers to meet customer requirements
• Prepares customer price quotations, order acknowledgements, order status information, packing lists and invoices for customers
• Facilitates customer requests in an expeditious manner
• Monitors customer orders throughout the process, advising customers of any significant delays
• Confirm that appropriate sales resources are available including literature and demo units
• Attend product training classes and sales meetings as required by JPR Systems and the manufacturers we represent
• Perform some shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks
• Identify and grow opportunities within the territory and collaborate with the sales team to ensure growth attainment
Required Qualifications:Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Computer Science.
Experience:
• 2 years of industrial sales experience or related customer service, sales or account management experience
• Possess the technical aptitude to learn and apply the technical products and services represented by JPR Systems
• Proficient with Microsoft office
• Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills
